Search Highlighted Text In a Tab By Dragging IT

There are many ways to makes searches on Internet. But i can bet that nothing can be more simpler and easier than this. While reading any article on Internet if you saw a word which you don’t know what it’s or you want to make a search on it, the traditional method is to open a new tab or window, open your favorite search engine and then make a search.

To avoid all these steps, the cool and the easiest way to do at Google’s Chrome is by simply highlighting the text on the page and drag it to the Chrome’s address bar (OMNI BOX) or the Tab’s bar and immediately your browser will search for it at your default search engine set in Chrome’s option. Isn’t it SUPER COOL!!!

For Firefox users, you can drag the text only to address bar and then have to press Enter to make a search. Can’t drag it to the tab’s bar.

My Last Words:

It’s almost similar to opening a website link in a new tab by dragging it but searching anything like that really saves your time. Do you have any other tip? Do share it at below page commenting section.
